Co-Founder, Jorge Santeiro, began his legal career in 1995 as a United States Air Force JAG. He obtained his law degree from the University of Miami and undergraduate degree from Florida International University. Jorge spent decades working as a litigator and shareholder for local firms in Tampa. His practice area included automobile, premises liability, trucking litigation as well as construction defect and product liability defense. Jorge is now an attorney for Santeiro & Garrison, FCCI staff counsel
He and his wife, Sandy, have been married for over 30 years and are proud of their two children. Their son William, who is autistic, and their daughter Gabrielle are currently pursuing further education at The Learning Academy at USF and Florida State University, respectively.
Co-Founder, Luis Viera, was raised in the North Tampa/Temple Terrace area and is a 2000 graduate of the University of South Florida and in 2003 graduated from Stetson College of Law.
Luis, a Councilman for the City of Tampa, is very active in our local community. He is the former Chairman of the Hillsborough County Bar Association Diversity Committee and a former Chairman of the City of Tampa Civil Service Board. Luis's passion for supporting the differently abled began at home with his elder brother, Juan. Beyond his work with LAAF, Luis previously served on the Board of Tampa Bay Best Buddies, an organization which assists and advocates for persons with special needs and developmental disabilities.
Luis, his wife Colleen O'Brien, and son, Luis Jr., are very involved in the local Tampa community.
President Sandy Santeiro is a Bilingual, Educational Advocate and Master IEP Coach®. Sandy works with families of students in the public school setting that have learning disabilities, special needs, or other health care concerns. Through coaching, consulting, and attending school meetings, Sandy helps parents collaborate with school teams to create effective and meaningful education plans that will support students in the classroom and prepare them for further education, employment, and independent living.
Sandy, along with her husband Jorge, is learning to adjust to the life of an 'empty-nester' now that their two kids are off at college.
Vice President Kelley Prince is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and is the President and Founder of Behavioral Consulting of Tampa Bay, Inc. Since 1997 Kelley has worked directly with children on the autism spectrum, specializing in the development, implementation and supervision of Verbal Behavior Programs for children, Kelley focuses on teaching language/functional communication skills, academic skills, social skills, self-help skills and compliance behavior.
Kelley is the proud momma of Carson and Owen and loves spending time at their ball games, fishing, and boating.
